Life Saving Victoria Awards of Excellence - Club of the Year 2005

and finalists for the

Surf Life Saving Australia Awards of Excellence -Club of the Year 2005

  

 

- Founded in 1947, making it the fourth Coastal Surf Life Saving Club in Victoria and the oldest in the Bellarine District.

- Providing patrolled beaches at the Point Lonsdale Back Beach and Santa Casa Beach Queenscliff.

- 1,622 Lives Saved since formation, with  26 Lives Saved during Season 2009/2010.

- Winner State Patrol Efficiency Competition 1991/1992.

 - Australian Champions in 1964/1965, 1974/1975, 1975/1976, 1996/1997 and 2001/2002.

Club Vision

We will provide lifesaving services for the community of Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff, enable our members to develop their skills, knowledge and experience in lifesaving and sports and to improve the profile and influence of the club through community and member involvement and leadership in development programs and initiatives.
