- Founded in 1947, making it the fourth Coastal Surf Life Saving Club in Victoria and the oldest in the Bellarine District.

- Providing patrolled beaches at the Point Lonsdale Back Beach and Santa Casa Beach Queenscliff.

- 1,660 Lives Saved since formation, with 35 Lives Saved during Season 2010/2011.

- Winner State Patrol Efficiency Competition 1991/1992.

- Australian Champions in 1964/1965, 1974/1975, 1975/1976, 1996/1997 and 2001/2002.

Club Vision

We will provide lifesaving services for the community of Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff, enable our members to develop their skills, knowledge and experience in lifesaving and sports and to improve the profile and influence of the club through community and member involvement and leadership in development programs and initiatives.

	Many thanks to the 1 543 swimmers that entered the 24^th DUCHAMP Rip View Swim Classic. Full results can now be found on the Rip View Swim Classic Page. The 25^th event is pencilled in for Sunday 6^th January 2013, with a midday start !

	From 26^th December until 26^th January the Point Lonsdale Back Beach and Santa Casa Beach Queenscliff will be patrolled 7 days a week – Volunteers on Weekends and Public Holidays (at Point Lonsdale) and Lifeguards the rest of the time.
