Information and Fees:
The Club will start to accept
applications for membership from new
Nippers from Friday 1st October onwards, unless we have
already reached the limit for that age group and will continue to accept
applications up until a point where limits are reached for a particular age
group. Although we do not have a waiting list, you can phone the Office on
5258 1257 prior to this date and we will endeavour to contact you should
there be any vacancies for Nippers.

Offered for those that do not want to undertake the WWCC, provided
that you do not have any children that are under the age of 18 that are a
member of the Club, that you will not be involved in any activities
undertaken by our members that are under the age of 18 and you will be
unable to have a committee position or any other position of
responsibility within the Club.

Have you been, or are you currently a member of
another Surf Life Saving Club or Life Saving Club and want to join the
Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club ?:
Then your membership at Point Lonsdale will not be complete until
a membership clearance / transfer has been completed between the Point
Lonsdale SLSC and your current / former Club. Please make sure that your
current Club is aware that you wish this to occur and we need to know if
you want a complete transfer (you are a member at Point Lonsdale only and
can compete for Point Lonsdale), if you want just a competitive transfer
(you are a member at another Club, as well as Point Lonsdale and can
compete for Point Lonsdale), or if you want a non-competitive transfer (you
are a member at another Club, as well as Point Lonsdale but want to be able
to compete for the other Club). These are required by SLSA as follows -
• In accordance with SLSA Regulations
7.8 and 7.10 as
amended.
• By any Member who desires to remain
a member of a Club
but transfer their competitive rights to another Club (Competitive
Transfer).
• By any Member who desires to leave
their present Club
to join another Club (Full Transfer).
• By any member who wishes to join
another Club but
retain membership / competitive rights at a Club that they are already a
member of (Clearance / Non-Competitive Transfer).
Please note - this policy also applies to
Junior Activity (Nipper) Members and even if it has been several years
since you were a member at the other Surf Life Saving Club / Life Saving Club.

Each person is required to have the 2 page SLSA Application for
Membership Form completed. So, if there are 3 members, there will be 3
separate 2 page SLSA Application for Membership Form completed (6 pages).
