Point Lonsdale Back (Surf) Beach - Patrol Periods - Dates & Times


Volunteer Surf Lifesavers will operate patrols as follows from late November to Easter Monday:

Saturday 28^th November 2009 – Sunday 20^th December 2009

Saturdays 1:00pm to 4:00pm and Sundays / Public Holidays 10:30am to 4:00pm.

Friday 25^th December 2009 – Tuesday 26^th January 2010

Saturdays 1:00pm to 6:00pm and Sundays / Public Holidays (Not Christmas Day) 10:00am to 6:00pm

Saturday 30^th January 2010 – Monday 5^th April 2010

Saturdays 1:00pm to 4:00pm and Sundays / Public Holidays 10:30am to 4:00pm.


Professional Lifeguards will operate to support the volunteer surf lifesavers during the main summer school holiday period to provide 7 day a week coverage at Point Lonsdale:

Saturday 26^th December 2009 – Monday 25^th January 2010

Monday to Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday mornings 10:00am – 1:00pm, when the volunteer surf lifesavers will commence.
