Without generous donations the Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club could not provide for patrolled beaches in Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff and for the wide range of activities and opportunities that we offer our members.

 

The Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club is a registered charity and as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) by the Australian Taxation Office we can issue receipts for donations of $ 2 or more.

 

To give you an understanding of the cost of typical lifesaving equipment that is required to be on our beaches when they are patrolled, some key items and their cost can be found below:All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) - fully equipped $ 35 000

  • Four Wheel Drive Vehicle - fully equipped - $ 50 000
  • All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) - fully equipped - $ 35 000
  • Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) - $ 18 000
  • Defibrillator (AED) and Training Unit - $ 5 000
  • Oxygen Resuscitation Unit $ 3 500
  • Portable UHF Radio (x 3 on Back Beach) @ $ 1 300 ea
  • Rescue Board (x 4 on Back Beach) @ $ 1 300 ea
  • Training Manikin $ 550
  • Spinal Board $ 500
  • First Aid Kit $ 400
  • Loud Hailer $ 160
  • Rescue Tube (x 6 on Back Beach) @ $ 120 ea
  • Patrol Pack (x 10 on Back Beach) @ $ 50 ea
  • Neck Brace (x 2 on Back Beach) @ $ 40 ea
  • Oxygen Bottle Changeover $ 40

We welcome donations via our secure online service using Pay Pal (CURRENTLY OFFLINE SORRY) (or if you prefer please phone our Club Office on 03 5258 1257 to discuss alternate methods for making a donation) and there are three options for where your generous donation can be directed to.

 

The first is a General Donation which supports the continuation of current activities.

The second is a Building Fund Donation to assist to fund a new Clubhouse and for major repairs.

The third is 'The Pointers' Endowment Fund Donation  for significant new projects.
